How to save Instagram photos in full quality
- Tap the share icon on the photo post and choose Copy link.
- Open InstaSave and tap Save on the detected link.
- The photo is saved at the full resolution available. Multi-photo posts save every image.
- Open the InstaSave album in Photos to view, edit or print it.
- Search your library by creator or caption whenever you need it again.
Why full quality actually matters
If you're saving a photo to look at once, a screenshot might do. But people save photos to use them: as a mood board for a room, a reference for a haircut, a print for the wall, a color palette for a design project. All of those need the real pixels.
Full-quality saves keep fine detail, true color and the original framing. Crop it the way you want, zoom in on the texture, or show it to your stylist without apologizing for the blur.
Photos, saved properly
Full original resolution
Sharp enough to zoom, crop or print.
No cropping
The original frame, not your screen size.
Every photo in a post
Multi-image posts are saved completely.
Organized by creator
Folders build themselves as you save.
A photo library that sorts itself
Saving hundreds of images is easy. Finding the right one later is the hard part. InstaSave files each photo by creator automatically and keeps the caption and date. Search “terrazzo,” “bob cut” or an architect's handle and the photos appear.
Add your own tags to build collections like “kitchen ideas” or “wedding,” and your camera roll stays clean while your library does the organizing.
Posts with more than one photo
If a post has several images, InstaSave saves all of them, in order. That's the same engine behind our carousel downloader. And if the photo is a Story, use the Story saver before it expires.
Ideas for your photo library
Some people use InstaSave as a private Pinterest. Others treat it as a reference shelf. A few ideas: a “home” tag for furniture, tile and lighting you love. A “hair” tag to show your stylist. A “gift ideas” tag that saves you every December. A “poses” tag for photographers planning a shoot. A “plating” tag for cooks who care how the plate looks.
Because every photo keeps its creator, it's also easy to go back and follow the people whose taste keeps showing up in your saves.
Privacy, plainly
InstaSave asks for permission to add images to your Photos, and that's all it uses it for. It never reads, scans or uploads the photos already on your phone. There's no account, no profile and no ads. Your library stays on your device, and library backup moves it to your next one.
And if you ever cancel, nothing you saved disappears. Every photo stays in your Photos app for good. That's our Keep-What-You-Save Promise, and it applies whether you saved ten photos or ten thousand. You can cancel anytime from your App Store subscription settings in a few taps.
