1. Who we are
InstaSave ("InstaSave," "we," "us") is operated by My Ai LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use the InstaSave app and website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions: .
2. The short version
- No account needed. We never ask for your name, email or phone number to use the app.
- We never read, scan, or upload the photos in your library. InstaSave only adds the media you choose to save.
- No ads. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Library Backup is optional. If you turn it on, we store small thumbnails and details of the items you saved, so you can restore your library on a new phone.
3. Information we collect
A random app identifier. When you first open InstaSave, we create an anonymous identifier for your installation. It isn't linked to your name, email, or phone number.
Links and usernames you submit. When you paste a link or enter a username, we send it to our servers and to our media-retrieval providers to find the publicly available media. We keep a record of which posts and accounts you saved, linked to your app identifier, so we can manage your daily credits and prevent abuse.
Clipboard. InstaSave can check whether your clipboard holds a link without reading what it says. It reads the link only when you tap Paste, or when you share a post to InstaSave. We don't store or send your clipboard contents unless you choose to save that link.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can tell you when your saves are ready - for example, after a batch of links finishes in the background. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Photos. InstaSave needs access to your photo library to save media there and to create an InstaSave album. We don't read, scan, or upload any other photos or videos. To show thumbnails inside the app, InstaSave uses only media it saved itself.
Library Backup (optional, subscribers only). If you turn it on, we store a small thumbnail of each saved item, along with its caption, creator name, posting date, media type, file name, and the folders and tags you've applied. Your original photos and videos are never uploaded - they stay on your device.
Purchases. Your subscription and trial status, the product purchased, transaction identifiers and purchase dates, received from Apple through our subscription provider. We never receive your payment card details.
Usage and device information. How you use the app - for example, screens viewed, saves completed, errors, and when a purchase screen is shown - along with app version, operating system, OS version, and language setting. We never record the text of searches.
Feedback and support. Anything you send through the in-app feedback form, with your app version and platform. If you email us, your email address and message.
4. How we use your information
- To save the media you request and keep your library working
- To manage daily credits, trials and subscriptions
- To restore your purchases and, if you've turned it on, your library on a new device
- To send notifications you've allowed, such as when your saves are ready
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and understand which features are used so we can improve them
- To respond to your support requests and feedback
We do not use your information for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run InstaSave:

We may replace or add providers that perform these same functions under similar protections.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
6. Content from Instagram
InstaSave retrieves only publicly available media. We cache public media details for a short time so the same post isn't fetched again and again.
InstaSave is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
7. How long we keep it

8. Your choices and rights
- Library Backup: turn it off any time in Settings, and choose whether to keep or delete your backup.
- Access and deletion: email to request a copy or deletion of your data. We'll ask for details to verify the request belongs to you.
- Notifications: InstaSave sends reminders and lets you know when your saves are ready. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
- Deleting the app removes data stored on your device. It does not delete data on our servers, and it does not cancel your subscription - manage that in your App Store settings.
Depending on where you live - including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and California - you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
9. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
We process your information to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract); for our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining and improving InstaSave; with your consent where required, such as photo library and notification access; and to meet legal obligations.
10. International transfers
Your information is processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for transfers outside your country.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
12. Children
InstaSave is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll change the effective date above, and notify you in the app for material changes.
