How to download all carousel photos at once
- On the carousel post, tap share and choose Copy link.
- Open InstaSave. The link is picked up automatically.
- Tap Save. InstaSave fetches every slide, including any video slides.
- All the slides land in the InstaSave album in Photos, in the order the creator posted them.
- The whole carousel is grouped in your library with its caption, so step 7 is never separated from step 1.
The first-slide problem
Here's what usually happens. You save a carousel of a ten-step bread recipe. You open your camera roll on baking day and find one photo: the finished loaf. The steps, the ratios, the shaping technique on slide six, all gone.
Screenshotting each slide is the usual workaround. It's slow, it crops everything, and video slides don't come through at all. InstaSave treats a carousel as what it is: one post with many parts, all of which you wanted.
Every carousel, complete
All slides, every time
Photos and videos, from the first slide to the last.
Original order
Slides are saved in sequence, just as they were posted.
Full resolution
No compression, no cropping, no screenshots.
Grouped with the caption
The whole post stays together in your library.
Kept together, in order
Slides are saved in sequence, so they sit next to each other in Photos and read like the original post. In your InstaSave library, the carousel stays grouped with its caption, creator and date. Search “focaccia” and the whole post comes up, not a lone image.
Mixed carousels work too. If a creator puts a short video on slide three, that slide is saved as a video, with sound.
Made for the posts you'll come back to
Carousels are where people put real information: travel itineraries, design references, study notes, skincare routines. Those are exactly the posts you want in full when you need them. Pair this with the Instagram photo downloader for single images, or batch save videos to iPhone when you have a backlog.
Carousels people save most
Recipe step-by-steps are the classic, but they're not alone. Travel creators pack whole itineraries into ten slides. Fitness coaches lay out a weekly split. Designers share palettes and type pairings. Teachers post study notes and diagrams. Interior accounts show a room before, during and after a renovation.
What these have in common is that the value is spread across the slides. Saving just the cover is like keeping the first page of a manual. InstaSave keeps the whole manual.
Why most apps stop at slide one
Grabbing a single image is the easy part. Handling a post with many parts, mixed photos and videos, and keeping their order is harder. InstaSave keeps every carousel slide in sequence so recipes, outfit ideas, and tutorials remain complete. You can review each part in order later, without guessing which steps or details disappeared.
